We’ve seen Jimmy being capable of feeling guilt over his own actions before. One clear example was when he defended Lalo and he saw the family of the young man that was killed. The image of the grieving mother resonated with him, along with the chilling thought of helping a murderer get off scot free and taking the family’s chance of closure. We see him own up his guilt in the finale when he finally decides to admit to his own mistakes, giving complete closure to Marie and Gomez’s wife by spending the rest of his life behind bars. No shortcuts involved.

Loved the show. I kinda think taking 86 years instead of 7 was kinda too much fan service tho

It was a pretty terrible way to end off the series especially in comparison to Felina Walt went out with a bang Saul went out in an uncharacteristic whimper
