Maybe but the vast cosmic distances between possible civilisations out there, will forever prevent us from finding out. Personally I find it inconceivable that we are the only life in such an unfathomably massive Universe.

Why would any possible intelligent life from anywhere want to come to this planet?. I would think that any real alien intelligent life would just lock their doors and speed past this planet!.
