Imagine being a Patreon member for a private equity owned channel, honestly incomprehensible

I can’t wait to see it! My 6 years old can’t stop playing with the Snatoms. Her great grandfather is pharmacist and just turned 100 years old in August. We take the box when we go to visit him and they play with it. He becomes so alive and passionate and she has so many questions he can answer. Thank you for that 😊

That's the Uncommons in Brooklyn! I've been there a few times. It's a great board game cafe

They are trying to pretend as if Derek spends time and effort developing something amazing. Meanwhile some giga corporation has 10 marketing managers who’s only job is to deceive you into believing this is something else than a cash grab and start of the private equity’s way into recouping tens of millions in the cost of the channel. Is this really what you want to support? Most likely 10% of what you give them will go to Derek

Im sure the intent behind this was "How can we help people learn new things?" instead of "How can we get every last penny of our viewers?"

Veritasium
Behind the scenes update!
We've spent the past six months building a new way to learn, and now we finally have the pleasure of meeting many of you in person.
Two weeks ago, 30 Patreon members became the first to test our latest project (while enjoying some of NYC’s finest pizza), and thanks to them we now have lots of great insight to work on.
Our goal is to create the best possible tool for collaborative and interactive learning, which means testing every one of our hypotheses on how we can make learning better.
In short, we want to meet and listen to as many of you as possible.
We might do more of these. So if you're interested in coming to give your two cents, say hi to the team, and meet your local Veritasium community, then keep an eye on our newsletter to stay in the loop: veritasium.kit.com/a101ca16b1
