When I was a child, I wasn't allowed anywhere near fabrics or a sewing machine, I was given some scraps and old clothes to play around with. I was stubborn and hand stitched pieces together (quite poorly) because I just wanted to make dresses. Today I'm running a fabric shop which means I have access to hundreds of metres of fabric any day, my inner child is having a happy dance every single day :)
