Scammers are really on it this year. I'm getting daily calls from them saying they are "my network operator" and then try save me 40% on the supposed network that isn't my network. Always at work when it happens and never a day off where I can play along

Here in Australia, our Telcos have put in place safeguards, so if a scammer calls or texts spoofing an Australian number, they detect it and cancel the call, the text is marked as suspicious spam'.

Scammers are getting so stupid, few days ago I got a call about "urgent call from Canada post, 2 delivery attempts have been made" .... except Canada Post was still on strike at the time 🤦♀

I got two letters, a “collection agency” and the card’s “bank” about an overdue amount. This not being my account saved me, but the doctored copy of a bank statement really sold the fraud. BE CAREFUL.
