Today you can listen to the album’s lead single “Dribble Dribble” which features Glenn Myers on supporting vocals. FLOOD Magazine, who premiered the song this morning, calls the single “a playful, carefree sonic palette steeped in Amy O’s familiar lo-fi scuzz.”
The new album is a return to form for Amy as she documents her transition into motherhood in the early days of the pandemic. Initially conceived as a lo-fi endeavor to record songs made with friends in those days of uncertainty, ‘Mirror, Reflect’ is an intimate and exploratory work that weaves collected home and field recordings with shimmering synths and Oelsner’s playful lyricism. Pre-orders are now live for the limited edition ‘Mirror, Reflect’ cassette tape and a new t-shirt that can be bundled with the tape.
