Here's my guess on that mis-read: Emile read the title as "Banjo-Tootie" and thought Kazooie was no longer in it OR he thought he'd get to play as Tootie and never did.

I just screamed with excitement seeing this!! I adore Tooie, I'm so glad I'll get to see Emile play through this game after Kazooie was one of my all-time favourite TRG playthroughs!
