I agree with you. I hate AI slop content and it destroys everything YouTube once stood for. This was not the YouTube I grew up with, this is what the OG YouTube it used to be when making good quality content, viewer engagement, individuality, a growing community, unwavering support, and the freedom it gives you to do what you want to make. Now it is nothing a corporate husk of a site that allows AI-generated slop, coupled with the infestation of g*re, p*rn, child and animal abuse, harassment, exploitation, drama, controversies and other garbage stuff that everyone else hates.

So about just yesterday, I was watching one of Deep Humor's recently released videos about another AI Slop asset on YouTube, and that's "Forever Living". It's a YouTube channel dedicated to 2Pac, featuring celebrities like Rihanna, Adele, Eminem, and Beyoncé, but other dead faces like Michael Jackson, Bob Marley and Biggie. To me, I kind of don't like this channel because it's AI-oriented and honestly, it's alternative music. This channel is creating music with AI-generated visuals with no beats, no real instruments, no nothing, just AI-generated. It's an alternative AI channel, and after watching one of their clips, I discover another AI-generated channel on the platform by the name of "Love tunez". That other channel is promoting disgraced R. Kelly music featuring mostly Rihanna. That speaks to mind that it's so weird that it's actually alternative AI music. I mean, alternative music is not what it used to be anymore. Back then it was guitar driven, but by the 2010s, it was already AI-pop driven with absolutely no guitars or drums in between. Now they're using AI-generated visuals in alternative music and pop music as well to feature vocals that might not sound just like them. That's exactly why I had to cut down on alternative music, which is AI nowadays. And the way I see it, Deep Humor is right. AI Slop has gone down the rabbit hole, and needs to stop, and YouTube should definitely go back to their old ways rather than age ID verifications, AI channels, and all that fakery.
