Gamma1734

I thought of this: You can also contribute in the selection of pieces here by sending me recommendations of pieces that are similar to what I normally upload here. Ideally, you have a folder of beautiful pdf's somewhere, that contains pieces that I never played and that you consider great to be uploaded on Gamma. So ideally you also have a quick look by typing here "[piece name] gamma1734" to check if I already played it or not. Also ideally you can directly provide me the pdf.
So, since you follow my channel I believe that there is at least some kind of knowledge too on your end about this kind of music, about this niche. I think there's a lot of potential to share our knowledge that way. I'm also working and thinking a lot about a long time solution with sharing the scores. There are many factors to consider about this, that many might be unaware. But yeah, I'll keep it short, thanks for reading ---

Since this affects you as community and many are from Russia, Ukraine etc., I translate this here for them:

There are a few composers whose music I think are pretty nice, like M. K. Ogiński (who's pretty much just remembered for his Polonaise Farewell, but he also composed other polonaises and dance forms which you can find on IMSLP). Julian Fontana's pieces and some PDF's (although some are probably in not so good conditions) you can download is here: https://www.julianfontana.com/music/music.html

@AlgerNonbert

And if you play some piece of Robert Alexander (1883-1966) He is actually on IMSLP and there's no YouTube video about him. He is very obscure today despite having more than 251 compositions including 9 Symphonies, 3 Solo Piano Concertos and 60!! Piano Sonatas.

Hi Gamma! I would suggest you to play Daises Op. 38 by Rachmaninov, there aren't many recordings even among the most famous pianists, and I think it would be a nice addition to your repertoire. I also composed a few piano pieces in the last three years, during my studies at the conservatory, and I'd be happy if you could play even just one of them

Hi Gamma! I first discovered your channel from your Jean Sibelius video, the pieces about trees; which was also how I discovered Sibelius' works and have been enjoying his works, and yours since. I'd love to hear your interpretation on one of his piece from Op.24 - No.2 Romance. There isn't many good recordings of this piece (or at all) and it's one of my favourite piece! Op.24 has numerous other great pieces as well, especially No.9 Romance, but there're already many recordings of that piece. Also I'm not sure how to send you pdfs from YouTube but the score is on IMSLP :) I feel really lucky to have discovered the gem that is your channel, giving me something to look foward to each week as you upload. Thank you for all that you do, from a fellow lover of mathematics and music 💖

Hello, Julian! Earlier, I offered you the works of the Italian Mercuzio. On his channel you will find more than 500 piano arrangements of high quality. There are arrangements of popular music, music from movies, as well as classical works. I promise that his works will amaze you. This is not a passing arranger, but a great professional. You need to write "Mercuziopianist" on YouTube and there you will find a link to download all the works absolutely free of charge! Your channel could help in popularizing this master, because his channel has undeservedly few subscribers.
