Linux will never get over 5% market share, if it knows what's good for it. Mainstream OSs tend to become slop after a while.

I still don't understand why should an average person use Linux instead of Windows. If they have an old computer or laptop, sure. But the majority of people who live in more developed countries have PCs that can run Win 11 well. And you can play games without losing performance thanks to the glorious GPU drivers on Linux.
