In my personal head cannon on Mario Vs Sonic, when fighting normally, they’re both equals. Y'know, of all 5 years of me sprite animating, never once have I ever done a Mario VS Sonic fight until now for The Ultimate Sprite Clash, as I've always been (and am still) a Mario AND Sonic person, where they team up together, even if there have been some cool fight animations I've seen of these two.
