Law Nerd Clips

My younger sibling asked me how I decide who I vote for and if they should pay a lot more attention to politics. I said that when our grandpa died and I had to fly to attend his funeral arrangements, Daniel Cameron defended my right to travel against Andy Beshear’s attempts to ban travel. Like explained in this edit, I vote for who will best defend my Rights and Freedoms. Happy Election Day and may you also have a candidate willing to fight for your rights in your State too. 🗳️❤️

From a Vet, thanks for voting for the correct way. For or against my candidate, you're voting informed and for Rights! That's all we should ask you for in elections. So thanks for doing it right, Patriot.

I voted against Andy Beshear a couple of hours ago exactly on the civil liberties vs. CDC oligarchy issue two hours ago in my state.

Daniel Cameron is the best hope we have for getting rid of Mitch McConnell. It seems like he is waiting to step down under a republican governor, who then assigns the next senator.

Happy Election Day. While not a resident in the States, I will be properly voting in my province toward freedom and the recognition of it. Which is already a sad state of affairs.

The part you forgot to mention was the importance of understanding what rights and freedoms actually are, and not thinking free shit and government mandated service are rights

Though I know it's different in the US, I do feel like it's better to vote than not, and to do as much research and listen to candidates as often as possible. The party I voted for during my country's general election (NZ) is now in a position to form a coalition government. Maybe they'd have gotten in without my vote, but why make it less likely for them if I prefer them over other parties? So I hope you guys do go out and vote.

You are a good guy Nick. Politicians are some of the most evil treasonous pigs out there. I always vote because I feel a duty to this country, but the more elections I live through the more problematic I feel our country is heading. I am relieved we haven’t had our election in California yet. Our ballot raises my blood pressure every damn time. All the propositions for millions of dollars they want released to them to not build the cool thing they say they will. People will still vote yes. Hopefully we can turn this ship called AMERICA around again. Im black pilled as you can probably tell with this upbeat response. 🙃

It concerns me, to the point where it makes me ill, to see people who I call friends not care about politics at all. As rights of their’s get eroded away and they just carry on carrying on. Then you have people on the other side of the aisle, for me their democrats, who openly celebrate the abolishment of the second amendment and first amendment rights of their fellow Americans. It hurts. It makes me feel sick for where I live. As if I’m constantly dirty as I’m surrounded by that filth.

In Ohio, all the Zoomers turned out to vote for their abortions and weed. Pendulum has swung here. I mean shit, we put resteictionless abortion and access to sexual healthcare with no minimum age in our constitution. There is no debating it, there is no compromise, we would have to ammendment our constitution to change it. The worst part is that our constitution, something presumably designed to weather easy change better than local lawmakers/laws, is only a simple majority. So all it takes is how many ignorant zoomers can be drawn to the polls to literally change anything in our state. In this case it's abortion and weed, give it 1 election cycle before they add an ammendment to the Ohio constitution to restrict the 2nd ammendment.
