JIJ forge N fishin

Hey guys!
I’m hopefully going to have some free time in October and November to do some forging and I want to know what sort of projects you want to see, drop some ideas in the comments below.
Try to be specific, so instead of saying a knife, maybe a Bowie, or a hunting knife, or a scrap steel knife, y’all get the picture.

One more thing, what style do yall want?

Carving tools might be a very interesting way to go. A scandi ground slöjd knife, maybe, or even some hook knives, of the kind you use to carve spoon bowls? You know, the kind that are convex ground on the outside, and hollow ground on the inside, to make sharpening easier. And then, you could use them to carve a spoon. 😮

I’ve always been curious if it’s possible to forge a strong fillet knife from a mower blade, railroad spike or a file.
