Everyone who wanted to comment on the peace plan for Ukraine has already done so — everyone except me, of course.
I simply cannot understand the people who call this a "capitulation of Ukraine".
Where exactly is the capitulation here? Is it in the fact that Ukraine would receive de facto reparations from Russia — something no one even dreams about anymore? Is the capitulation supposed to be the reduction of the Armed Forces to 600,000 service members, when back in February 2022 only 200,000 defended Ukraine? Or is it the idea that we won’t be admitted to NATO, even though the door was de facto closed to us long before?
If this were truly a capitulation, then I’m afraid I’ll have to disappoint (or perhaps delight) you the list would include reducing the Armed Forces to some absurd number like 60,000, it would include canceling decommunization and “decolonization”; it would demand the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops not only from the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, but also from Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, and it would certainly require handing over to Russia all units like Azov, the RVC, Aidar, and others in the same category.
The fact that our position consists of these 28 points — this is nothing less than a VICTORY for Ukraine, because in our current state, with mass desertion in the army and a crisis beginning in the government, no better conditions could possibly be expected in the nearly fourth year of the war.

Где здесь капитуляция? Может быть в том что Украина получит де-факто репарации от России про которые уже никто и не мечтает? Может капитуляция это сокращение ВСУ до 600 тысяч человек, тем временем как в феврале 2022 года Украину защищали всего 200 тысяч? Может капитуляция в том что нас не примут в НАТО, хотя и до этого вход туда нам был де-факто закрыт?
Если бы это реально была капитуляция, то боюсь вас огорчить (или обрадовать), среди пунктов было бы сокращение численности ВСУ до абсурдных цифр как 60 тысяч, был бы пункт об отмене декоммунизации и "деколонизации", был бы пункт про вывод ВСУ не только с Донецкой и Луганской областей, но и Запорожья и Херсона, был бы пункт про выдачу России всех подразделений как Азов, РДК, Айдар, и остальные в такой же манере.
То что мы имеем такие 28 пунктов в нашем положении — это ничто иное как ПОБЕДА для Украины, потому что в таком состоянии, когда в армии массовое дезертирство, а в правительстве начался кризис, лучших условий на почти 4-й год войны быть просто не может.
