I use an old set of Farberware stainless steel pots and pans with cast aluminum bottoms that I inherited from my aunt when she died in 1985. It was missing some of the smaller pots, but she had several Club cast aluminum pots...and a frying pan...in smaller sizes. Over the years, I was able to find smaller Farberware pots in yard sales, so I have a really nice collection. My mom was sort of a distracted cook, so I bought her a large set of Cuisinart nonstick pots and pans. They were a good quality...with glass lids...so she could easily clean them when she made burnt offerings. 🤣🤣 My mom passed away in 1994, and I got the Cuisinart set, too...so now I have two complete sets of pots and pans...enough to start a restaurant! 😂 I have plenty of cabinet space in my kitchen, so there's enough room for me to store the pots and pans that I use the most...and since I have a large basement, the larger pots and casseroles live down there until I have company. I also have a complete set of porcelain over steel baking and roasting pans...also from my aunt...that must be from the '30s or '40s, when she got married. Aside from a few small chips on the outside of a couple of the pans, they have held up very well for all of these years. I still use a GE gas stove with a pilot light that I bought in 1990. I shut the pilot lights off on the burners and light them with a match. It's what I used all of my life and I'm happy with it. The pots and pans work well with a stove like th

Stainless. The best are the ones with the thick flat plate on bottom. They also seem to be the cheapest priced ones. The flat plate on bottom also keeps them from warping. I’ve had my set for almost 20 years and use them almost daily!

For nearly 50 years, I’ve used the same Farberware pots/pans. I also have some cast iron pans I love. Never non-stick, though. My late husband preferred those, but I tossed them as soon as he died. They’re too toxic.

Anything sauteed or stir fried , I use the non stick or ceramic coated pans. All of my pots are stainless steel and are used to steam, stew, and braise. I have inherited my grandma's corning ware pots. They do as well as the stainless, but they are heavier. A full pot can be harder to lift. That's when I ladle out portions from the pot.

I use all them. Each material has its purpose. Cast iron is my favorite and a 10in skillet is the PERFECT substitute for Thors Hammer and or Stormbreaker ⚒️😏‼️ 😅😂

I use cast-iron for certain things… I have a German made nonstick pan that I use for frying eggs… And for other things I use my all clad pots and pans… It really depends on what I’m cooking

Big fan of enamel coated cast iron pots and pans.

The non stick is aluminum with ceramic coating. Love best set I've ever purchased. Previous set was cast iron, maybe healthier but a pain in the butt.

Mostly stainless but a mix of different pots and pans. If I could find old Revere wear (I only have one pot) I would buy all of it.

Love my 25+ year old set of All Clad but use cast iron as well.

A little bit of all of them. I would like to know what is a good range to look at for cooking for a big family but we also do canning as well. I need something to withstand a good amount of use every day, and not worry about it.

I use mostly stainless steel, and sometimes cast iron. I only have 1 non stick pan which I use occasionally for things like frying eggs.
