Full season points all the way. If the championship gets clinched early, make the final race a super speedway night race in Atlanta for something to look forward to. If NASCAR is too stubborn to implement that, then a compromise of a 10 race chase with 10 drivers would be ok. Rotating out tracks each season in the final 10 could be beneficial too to eliminate the “Jimmy Johnson effect”.

Personally, I want the full season points format to come back. However, knowing Nascar, they value entertainment over racing, so unfortunately I think we will still have playoffs but with a different format.
