This is bad. My thoughts are with those that are affected by this. In all my years of living in Western Washington, I've never seen the Green River bust through the levee and create this much mayhem.
So many closures trying to get to work this morning, nearly 3 hours today. Those that have watched my live drives to and from work will recognize the city of Auburn, and Kent, as it is my preferred route to work. This next atmospheric river is supposed to also bring snow in the higher elevations, more rain and heavy winds. I suspect that grocery stores are going to be empty and there will be no toilet paper and bread in sight.
