NGL I really liked Carmine. At first I really didn’t like her, but the. She really grew on me. She grew to a point I was super happy ti have her as a friend throughout the whole DLC and it felt like she was following me through my new journey

I really like Kieran for being this kid that held our character on a pedestal, and was surprised that we wanted to be friends with them. And then his obsession breaking him down into basically being a competitive VGC player (the stats on his Pokémon are amazing). And despite all that, despite the anger, he still had your character on a pedestal. I am glad to see that he's part of the friend group at the end.

The Blueberry Academy is by far my favorite DLC Pokemon has made. It is batrle focussd and the trainers have a high level. This allowed me to use Pokemon from older games (Emerald, Plaltinum etc) in this DLC without ruining tbe game. Amazing DLC and I hope Gen 10 has something exacty like this.

Headcanon: Max would be very patient when May is on a voice chat with friends, but Clemont? I’m sure he has to lock the door to his room so that Bonnie wouldn’t ruin any VC conversation that he has with others, especially when there’s at least one female in the server since Bonnie would just ask her to marry him and yk that’s very likely to get him banned due to a variety of reasons.

I think their sibling dynamic is unfortunately, very accurate. I know lots of people who are relentlessly bullied by their siblings like how Carmine bullied Kieran so badly. Not only was the player lying to Kieran, but they were doing it in kahoots with Carmine, his bully.

I always defended Kieran’s crash out as very understandable… especially for a kid his age but even older people too. As it wasn’t just because Ogerpon chose us, his family legitimately decided they trusted a stranger that arrived 2 days ago more than him with the truth about what was basically him being right about his idol. Plus come on… if you’ve ever played something like Pixel/Cobblemon with friends, you’d throw the master ball too, you want the legendary screw your friends 😂

Hey, I also finished the Indigo Disk earlier. Still haven't played Mochi Mayhem yet, but the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero was incredible, at least to me, who already enjoyed base SV despite its many (many, many) flaws. Kieran is my favourite rival and a contender for my favourite Champion (and I headcanon he's on the autism spectrum, he literally stims on the elevator ride to the Underdepths). The BBE4 are awesome, Lacey being my favourite, but none of them being far behind. And Ogerpon is my new favourite legendary, she's a little menace, I love her. Tangential to the DLC, Kieran's Masters remix is one of my favourite Pokémon OSTs. I really wish I played this back when it came out, but I'm glad I finished it in time for ZA.

I've finally completed the Scarlet and Violet DLC, hooray!
I know it would be SUPER late if I made a video talking about the DLC story and characters, but I'm really tempted to because I really want to talk about my thoughts on it. I think Kieran and Carmine were really great characters and Blueberry Academy was really fun and some of the battles were actually pretty tough. I used my main team and it still gave me trouble.
The final scene with Kieran and Carmine was so good, I love the lighting and the music used in that scene is so good, it perfectly sets the tone. A resolution after so much turmoil. I love it.
I think Kieran is a really interesting character and seeing how much envy can ruin someone was intriguing. I wish they leaned more into the hatred towards the player but i think they did a good job with his character. I also love the scene where he sees Terapagos crawl towards the player and he uses a Master Ball on it. It really shows just how far gone he was at that point, like that was just terrible but it was perfect
A lot of people seem to dislike Carmine but I actually like her character too. She's so full of herself but in an endearing kind of away and her interactions with other characters were fun.
Out of the Blueberry Academy cast, my two favorites are Drayton and Lacey. Drayton is such a chill guy, he's awesome, and I liked Lacey's demeanor and interactions with the other characters as the voice of reason.
I just now completed Mochi Mayhem and it was short but a sweet little epilogue to Scarlet and Violet. It was fun seeing the main cast interact with Kieran and to just see them all together in general for one last little quest. I also did go see the scene at the Crystal Lake, thank you guys for giving me a heads up on that
If i do make a video about this, I'll probably make it after the Legends Z-A one, but overall I really loved the DLC and think this has been the best we've gotten so far.
