Citizens are deprived of basic human rights in most of Western Europe. They can be jailed for insulting a politician (such as calling a fat lawmaker fat), or for criticizing the degradation of their societies.

Good work! I am a little surprised at your scores for some European countries. The recent push to quash free speech in UK in particular seems to me to severely restrict the safety of that country. Additionally in many cities in UK it would not be safe to park a high end car or allow your teenage daughter to go out alone. And finally, if UK was really ranked no 21 I doubt there would be such an exodus going on right now

As someone who has lived in South Africa, and has watched the recent events there, I don't agree with some of the ratings, there is no more asset protections under the law. Any level of government can for the greater good of society confiscate any property without compensation. This also screams human rights is not a primary concern

Kindly create a video about the alternative options available to Caribbean passport investors in case they lose visa-free access to the European Union

Democracy is a half-truth. Things are great for a small group but the average man faces constant inconveniences.

To me it’s kindaa funny how Americans only want to learn and get jobs through colleges. On top of that, it’s super expensive. Here in Poland it’s free, yet I decided to not go to any college and spent 3 years post high school on self-tutoring myself, and finally broke into game dev as an artist. Everything is on the internet, most of it for free. You just need a ton of discipline and hard work. If i had to pay for a college hundreds of thousands of dollars, not going there would seem to me like the only decision.

An even funnier point was; if you think the US was bad, wait till you see how much farther down Canada is FROM the US. And yet the narrative is that Americans are leaving the US to go to Canada. lol.

Should have criterias for countries who aren't feminist and woke, especially in this day and age.

Great report, interesting data. Seeing the state of Wyoming was unexpected, Texas and Florida did not surprise me (because that's where the herd goes). Thank you for this effort. Cheers. 👍

South Africa and Iraq are more safe than Nevada? What are you basing the safety scores on?

I don’t think we can say that the US has a 50 for human rights at this point. The rule of law is very much under attack and there are people being kidnapped for criticizing foreign governments.

Quality of life needs to be looked into more honestly, Sweden is dark half of the year and their people are closed off to strangers so I don’t understand the score it got

I somewhat disagree with the markers. I live in switzerland rn, which even is the prime example for quality of life in the index. But there is no universal health care here … its just, that you‘re forced to pay for it. I just had to pay 1560 chf for 4 months – even tho they dont cover the first 2500 chf of medical cost per year. Also the broadcasting fee is mandatory and not cheap. So switzerland should’ve taken a hit from a perfect score in human rights – but it did not. Singapore on the other hand just scored 30 out of 50, although they do not make health insurance mandatory.

Nomad Capitalist
Let’s get one thing straight:
The “free world” isn’t free anymore.
Western countries love to talk big about liberty. But try moving your money, starting a business, or raising your kids without government interference, and you’ll see how much freedom you really have.
That’s why we built this:
The Nomad Capitalist Freedom Index 2025
It ranks every country (plus five U.S. states) on real, usable freedom, not propaganda.
nomadcapitalist.com/nomad-freedom-index/
Not flag-waving. Not slogans.Just cold, hard facts on:
Financial freedom: Can you move capital without red tape?
Asset protection: Will your wealth be safe from seizure or snooping?
Human rights: Is your autonomy actually respected?
Safety: Can your family walk down the street at night?
Quality of life: Is it actually liveable?
Spoiler: The winners aren’t who you think.
Hint: Monaco and Mauritius tied for #1. And no, the U.S. didn’t crack the top 20.
We built this index for people who think strategically. Because your freedom plan should be based on facts, not nostalgia. The Nomad Freedom Index is your new map.
Download it. Study it. Use it to reframe where you live, invest, and protect your future.
