I think there needs to be some more wage inflation which tends to lock in past price rises - but I can't see it being excessive since most base commodities are the same price they were 5 years ago before the Covid spike. So I'm going to be boring and say rates will be lowered on schedule, in pace with inflation.

I’m mixed about this. My mortgage renews next December so I want lower rates so I can fix in, however higher rates are better for my savings
