We need an expert to vote for this.

Douglas Murray, made himself look bad. I respect both of these guys, though, I disagree with both of them on a number of issues. Douglas, being staunchly pro-Israel and staunchly pro-Ukraine did nothing to win hearts and minds for those causes. In fact, I would go as far as to say he hurt them. When you tell average people — who are not stupid — they can’t talk about something because they’re not experts, you create unnecessary opposition. What’s more, Douglas Murray took it even further by acknowledging that the “experts” have severely damaged their own credibility by lying through their fucking teeth over the past decade, in overt fashion; Russiagate, Hunter’s laptop, Biden’s cognitive health, Covid and more, then contradicts himself by saying we should trust them. I don’t necessarily agree with Dave about the Israeli response, but, he came out of that debate 100% unscathed. He was the voice of reason, and he applied his arguments rationally and consistently, and it made Douglas look like an unreasonable, inconsistent, historical NPC.

@hrvad

Whatever the outcome, let's just remember that Douglas is always right

@SecretChief3

I can’t believe anyone thought Douglas won that.

@OtherwisePanic

Douglas made an absolute fool of himself. How any human can act and think like that is beyond me.

@Arcane808

How can anyone honestly say Douglas even came close.

@guitarded2524

Only pro Israel pro Ukraine war shills would think Douglas won that debate. I lost a lot of respect for Douglas in that debate. It was embarrassing.

@Maple-Lizard

I'd say Dave Smith but I'm not sure. I'm not a professional and I wasn't at the JRE so I can't give any kind of legitimate input.

If anyone thinks Douglas Murray won that debate is obviously not an expert

@chrissouth3359

Murray acted like he could read minds Dave came with facts that he didn’t want to Hear Definitely Dave for the Win

@andycarpio127

Murray didn’t debate, he just complained, and took everything Dave said out of context

Douglas was very British. I loved how he policed speech and rhetoric rather than engage in the debate. That’s what I want representing us. The whole podcast was like that moment of grief as the soggy biscuit breaks away and falls into your cup of tea. I expect better.

With Murray’s appeals to authority, I almost thought he switched to being a leftist.

Joe needs to get someone from Gaza to debate Douglas... If visiting means he is an expert, imagine what living in Gaza means; God-tier all knowing insights.

Not the results I was expecting. I guess the whole “you can talk about stuff you’re not an expert in, but I’m gonna tell you why you shouldn’t” “trust the experts, even though I admit the experts aren’t trustworthy” routine really resonated with y’all.

Murray's argument from authority was just pompous windbaggery
