The Time Stranger video got quite the boost in viewers thanks to the game being new and from a well-known franchise (Digimon), so there's that. At the end of the day tho, it also depends on you: do you still enjoy playing Master Duel and making content for the game? I may not comment on your videos much, but I like how you mainly focus on cheap, F2P-friendly FTK decks, which is a niche that very few content creators go for (due to the stigma against FTK/OTK decks in general). But if you felt burnt out, it's fine to take a step back and do something else.

That's great! I think that If you want, you definetely should post diferent games or content. Sorry for not commenting on this video, I don't know a Lot about Digimon. I was always a casual, so the meta don't really brother me that much. I'll be waiting for the new vídeos. ;)

Totally with you on your take on the game. Needed a break and just came back for Dice Rally because it was the last time I had fun on the game. I think just playing for event and maybe doing a bit of low rank ladder with jank deck will be my way now. With a break for DC cup. Actually steamrolling the try out with your Drytron Turbo skip btw. In any case, feel free to do other things as long as you enjoy it. Thanks for your video that helped me a lot have fun without breaking my bank in many events

Well I just farm gems n that's it, I don't even care about winning anymore just let me finish my daily quest faster. In my country TCG/CCG irl is super hard to find friends to play with, not everyone is fan of card game and MD is my only way to fend. Well I play duel links before but I left it after MD released. Because I don't have a console or even computer so basically I don't know anything about a game other than mobile games, but I know about Digimon and I hear they gonna make Digimon card game

I really stopped caring back in January 2024 when chaos ruler was banned because I liked mixing archetypes, pile decks (kebab decks more so lol). I always liked and watched your content still. Making good stuff out of limited resources is also very fun! The tear meta was also frustrating back in April 2023 iirc and I got the same feeling from the following "eras" (not to mention the Drytron, VFD etc. era too, but it had more variety) Added to that all the expensive rogue (or even meme) decks, too many UR cards required and all put the nail on the coffin for me :( I'm a bit sad because my favourite deck (buster blader) got buffed up when Tenpai, and later the new Blue Eyes cards came out... but I just didn't have any motivation to play... I got all the UR needed thanks to the packs but to do nothing in the end :/ From what I'm seeing from far now that I stopped playing, MD seems to turn into Duel Links bad aspects wise... And thus the player base is shrinking (see the steam charts, there are 12K players avg now compared to 19,5k a year ago, same month). I guess Konami know they hit a plateau and the game's gonna get like WoW some waves of new/returning players when fresh stuff come out.

i saw this a little late, but as u said, i kind of left the game early this year, for the same reasons u said, but yesterday (Sep-22) genesys was announced, so what do you think about releasing some decks with your recipes and spiciness that defines you, would be dope, as always, great content and hope u find the light of inspiration

You can always run both, don't really need to stick to one game specifically. Saying this mostly cause I love your free to play decks for events and how to play them videos. It's reassuring knowing Gori has my back whenever I am wondering what the heck do I play in the next event

I stay because I feel like Yu-Gi-Oh is legitimately fun. Master Duel is free to play which helps. But without friends on and making your own rules and challenges, standard Yu-Gi-Oh is not fun. That's my opinion anyway.

Wow, didn't expect a video totally unrelated to Master Duel to be my most viewed video in 2025.
Should I start making more videos covering other topics?
With the declining player base, and how many people saying how much they hate the current meta, are you guys still enjoying the game?
I personally can never play the game seriously given the contradictory nature of how competitive but luck dependent the game is, like how Pak and his entire team technically lost WCS 2025's final because Pak didn't open with any card that can stop Maxx "C". XD
