A bigger underlined issue. The big wigs telling the devs what to do, while they have golf clubs instead of controllers in their hands. Big investors and stocks.. all that crap is ruining gaming All of these things listed aren't consistent with genres, but the passion behind the creation of these games should be, and is not. Plenty of developers know what they should do to make their game great, it's the leads in charge that want that money The sad part, is it's been proven that if they actually make the game we want, they will make far more money than if they did it their way.
