I hope y’all doing great?! You’d all have noticed I haven’t been very active here lately, and that’s because I’ve been going through a lot personally.
I’ve been battling with depression. I thought I was at a better place. In fact I was. God’s been helping me. But as it is with depression, it takes very little to slip back.
If you saw my last song, this probably wouldn’t be surprising.
But that’s not why I’m writing here today. I’m writing here to share a screenshot with y’all. Some wonderful souls supported this channel with a huge sum, that surprised me. I’m both surprised and very grateful. But it’s the story they shared that took my breath away. Ken and Donna Perry, you have no idea how much sharing that story with me did to me.
I’ve found that, I could be down and out, I could be depressed, lost and wailing in a pool of tears, but in that state, if I could make someone smile, it sort of, even if momentarily, pours over me, a feeling of great joy and satisfaction.
And that’s what Ken and Donna did for me. So thank you. Thank you for giving me hope. Thank you for letting me know I’m not entirely of no use. Thank you for letting me now I’ve done something good. Thank you, thank you and thank you. May God bless you.
