At this point, I think I know more about metallic water at different temperatures than anyone else alive today.

Is that an add-on for the Solar-powered, self-refilling water bottle?!!? Awesome!!! 🤣😂 Oh, Thunderf0

I'm not sure that thunderfoot didn't say, "I have the power!" when he held that aloft. 🤔

“But I definitely could also use it as a bong if I wanted to… you know, for science.”

... Stoner scientist checking in. I'm not saying I couldn't make it work, but none of that would make for ideal bong parts.

thunderfoot actually uses "Scientific Glass" bongs, bubblers, and dab rigs for science

Yeeeeah... Coz it would be unrealistic to think you'd make a high-tech bong, right? 😉 (Very impressive glasswork, as always! Can't wait to see the associated video. 👍

Do you do your own glass work? I started my own Blacksmith/Metal Fabrication when finished my 4 year apprenticeship. I had two close friends that went to that scientific glass blowing school in Salem NJ(for Dupont factories basically). They both dropped out after the 3rd year when they finally got shown where they would likley be working(a near literal sweat shop). They wanted nothing to do with that. They instead got into doing art....and bongs etc. Their shop was in the other half of the building mine was, so we would take turns teaching eachother how to do our craft. I never got very good at the glass, I just don't have the finger dexterity needed to spin by hand...maybe if I used the lathe all the time I would have been ok. Anyway, it's nice to know how to do because it has helped in my later projects and experiments. Even if I couldn't do the work, I would know what needed to be done and how it would be done more likley than not. Good skill to have in the ol mental "tool box". The Blacksmith I did my last year of my apprenticeship(was like 16ish) is an interesting guy he would give me history lessons on just about everything we did, which helped me remember. He is the one that taught me the importance of a full "toolbox". He knew 500 ways to make a square hole in a piece of metal. I learned 50ish. I kinda wish I did my full 4 years with him, but am grateful I did it at all.....even though it all went to chit in Sept of 2001 when my biggest and pretty much only consistent customer's building was nearly destroyed. Their company was shut down for almost 2 years. Then some local rich kids(kids of local judges) broke into my new shop and destroyed all of my equipment literally 3 days before my insurance was to take effect. I wasn't even working in there yet and had just moved my stuff in. They are lucky they didn't kill themselves, but even with witnesses, nothing happened because their parents were judges. Anyway, I'm rambling on instead of going out into the cold to do what I should be. Hope you had fun! Cheerz! ☮️

In the early 00s I took a laser diode out of a blu-ray player and built a laser bong. Good times.
