Tropes in fiction can ruin real life and there’s one in particular that needs to be Sparta-kicked into oblivion. New article is live. You can read it here: www.fictionalinfluence.com/p/crying-in-the-shower-…

@3-daysago

Hollywood can't write anymore. It's a collection of tropes, cliches and same repeated nudges

I was just telling my friend that more people need to teach their kids that if anybody ever s-assaults you the first thing you need to do is go straight to the emergency room and get a rape kit done. A lot of people will go crying in the shower, but that’s washing away evidence of a crime. But then I’ve also grown up and seen people lose custody of their kids because they’re willingly letting their kid get touched by their partner and actively trained their child not to report it and that’s what’s happening a majority of times. I’ve only ever seen one parent in real life ever actually NOT lie to cover for their partner and let it continue. Not to mention this happens all the time to men as younger boys, but nobody ever bothers to teach them with a bad touch is!

This is kinda crazy. Was reading this and got to where you mentioned, "I Spit on Your Grave." I legit just bought that movie on Amazon with some free credits they gave me like an hour ago. Totally called me out lol

In my World View, Unwanted Snuggle Struggle is a Capital Offense. And The Master never amended the Law of The Avenger of Blood. Like you said in your post, it IS an act of violence; like sodomy, it has nothing to do with sex. I have told my daughters “Do not put yourself in a position where I might go to jail.”
