my dad has said we might actually have to move because tariffs upping the price of a life-saving medication my mom takes and the insurance likely won't cover it. it is so terrifying to live in a state of unrest and fear of having to completely abandon what we know just because of this. there are literally only two countries in the world it is approved in other than the US. it feels like there is nothing to do anymore but be cynical and watch as things get worse.

This will be my last post on current politics. As I fear that speaking up beyond this point may cause me to be in danger.
It’s not safe in America at all.
I am afraid for the ones that I love
They are coming after everyone now.
Mentally ill people
Disabled people
Autistic people
Immigrants
Queer people
People of colour
Everyone
They have stripped us of all of our health care. Defunded research on mental illness, cancer, AIDS, chronic illness. They defunded research on gun violence in schools.
They are spending billions of dollars to send rich people into space while people are out here starving.
I’m disappointed in the people who told me that I’m being dramatic and there are worse places to live. We are quite literally living in fascism now.
April 20 they will tell us wether or not the will go through with the insurrection act and declare martial law. At that point we will be at the point of no return. To those of you saying they wouldn’t do that and that we have checks and balances to stop it. You clearly have not been keeping up with what’s happening. This take over will happen slowly it never was supposed to happen over night. I’m warning all of you. It will take time but we are already here. By the time you open your eyes it will be too late.
