Being a size inclusive sewing pattern designer is something that I think most designers strive for, but at the same time, there are limitations to inclusivity that might not be apparent to most. I previously owned a made to order clothing company where I handmade clothing items for my customers. I strived to be inclusive, but I ran into road blocks and I couldn't find the resources that I was looking for. I've finally found the resource that I wish I had years ago and I'm so excited to be sharing this journey with you. In this video, I go in depth about creating an inclusive size range for my sewing patterns and I talk about some limitations to inclusivity that you may not know about. I hope this video offers a new perspective on the grading process and encourages others that size inclusivity is possible with the right resources.
