Because of my disease, I’ve been unable to access the outside world for many years. 3 years ago, I elected to play VRChat because of my growing isolation madness. I have since amassed several thousand hours on it. What I’ve seen on this game is appalling.
All the rumours are true. I cannot begin to describe how bleak and miserable the average player on that game is. I can’t stand being around it, so I just run around as an annoying squealing gremlin thing playing the same mini games over and over. I’m horrified of what people do in more secluded areas. I am quite literally the only wholesome thing within a mile-thick radius of depressing escapism.
Nobody’s there just to play the game, they’re all hardcore fleeing reality… Aside from really old people and children, neither of which should be playing it given its contents. Both get bullied into oblivion either way, which is sad to see considering they’re the only normal ones.
I wish I could go somewhere or do something irl. I’m technically insane, I need normal people to ground me, not the nightmares of the deepest pit the internet has to offer LMAO
