The reckoning continues...With the recent update to #Rewasd made by games like The Finals, Fortnite and even Call of Duty, it seems that consoles are now combatting 'cheats or enhancements' via hardware. Sony has officially started blocking the use of Cronus devices on their PS5 CONSOLE. Yes, you read that correct, on CONSOLE.
This is yet another great step in bringing back the organic balance in gaming (fps gaming more specifically) much needed by the communities. With the removal of Rewasd giving Mouse and Keyboard players access to controller aim assist and anti-recoil scripts, Cronus is a HARDWARE device that also provides the same style of functions, anti-recoil, controller input while using a mouse, and even things like rapid fire scripts.
Late last year Microsoft began this similar update of blocking any third-party accessories on xbox and Sony has now done the same. Could we finally see better balance in gaming in the near future???
