We need the original Metal Gear and its sequel. They should even combine them. We need a game that fills us in on who Mcdonell Miller and Ninja are before we meet them in MGS and nobody is going back to play it as is.

If they were to remake MSG MSX, Venom Snake from the phantom pain would be the actual boss of the game. It would actually be Solid Snakes first big mission, that would be awesome.

The REMAKE order should be: - MGS3 (done) - Peace Walker - (Maybe a Current Gen update or a director's cut for MGS5. Or just skip this.) - MG1 & MG2 - MGS1 - MGS2 - MGS4 Some of these allow for more liberties than others. Would be cool if all of them get the persistent scar tissue mechanic, and maybe a streamlined version of the healing system. Then some could have their arenas updated to be more fitting modern gaming. So less one hallway per area. PW could also see some mission structure rework so it minimizes a lot of the backtracking my adding new areas instead.

Mgs 1 would feel so small, if they do it they should do 1 + 2 together. Portable ops is one of my faves I played that until my psp fell to bits

Portable Ops, because people forgot that game had a heavy emphasis on its multiplayer and its randomized stealth missions with Portable Ops +. Peace Walker and V got it’s mechanics from Portable Ops.

MGS1 doesn't need a remake, the original aesthetic is what keeps it so special after all these years. Metal Gear MSX definitely should be remade, as not everyone knows the full story of Solid Snake.
