Can’t wait for it Dustin. Saturday mornings are like when I used to wake up to watch cartoons as a kid, now it’s just as exciting to watch you and Emmy !! From The Sunshine Coast !!

The wife & I first found your channel when you were building out your truck, and we have enjoyed your travels ever since. You do an awesome job creating (videography?) your very entertaining videos! We’ll be hitting the road some ourselves next year and can’t wait.

As beautiful as most of your mountainous evergreen scenery and lakes have been , this was my very favorite. And loved for your visit to Japan.

I'm severely asthmatic, I've got post surgery knees and a pinched sciatic. I'm not going anywhere but when I watch your videos, I'm suddenly there. And it is beautiful. Thank you.

I appreciate all that you share. You sure have a pretty country to call home!!! It's not often you get to enjoy something from the bottom to the top. Usually poppin' a top to get to the bottom! Has to be great to have company on those long drives. Was gonna volunteer and Emi just shows up.... Oh well, at least share it with me please!?!?!

Hey Dustin, my wife and u are on our way back to Ontario having done the top of the world hwy and the demeter hwy. The worst hwy was from beaver creek to destruction bay. We unfortunately blew out our trailer springs and had a big tow to whitehorse. Beautiful country and it was awesome to see.

Drove all the way to Tuktoyaktuk in my 1992 Chevy van last year. I've been on shorter, worse roads in B.C. South Canol Rd is really nice if you haven't been on it already.

You are CORRECT, I have been twice, first time aug-oct /81 and again in aug 2011. My parents small camper trailer got a flat in/81 and my Dads truck got a flat (which we plugged on the side of the road) in /11. Be prepared, drive to conditions and enjoy.

Hi Dustin. Big fan buddy. I’ve been diagnosed with ALS so living thru your travels now. I’m still semi mobile but not mobile enough to go on the adventures you do. So I get to go from the safety of my phone or tv!! Thank you so much for all you do for us that can’t!! I’ve been an outdoor person all my life so finding you back when I did was a God send!! Thanks again!!

So awesomeness my friend! So happy you're being able to go out further exploring more with confidence in the rig and setting your sights beyond expectations to share with all of us what we would never get to see and enjoy! Hopefully you are keeping a journal on the truck for later reference as far as maintenance goes and delving into those little things that could go wrong beforehand so your voyages are always smooth! Your pops taught you alot and it really shows and that's why you're one of the best at what you do ! Can't wait till Saturday! Your Wednesday maintenance show is a success as far as helping others to really think about things from a different perspective 😊 💪! Keep an eye out for them bears 🐻 Al

Beautiful. I’m from Ontario and just got back from a road trip up to Eagle Plains on the Dempster. Wish I could’ve made it the entire way up but it was still worth it regardless

Thanks. Planning to head up on the Dempster next summer and will be doing some research over the winter. BTW. I lived in Williams Lake for about 11 years and enjoyed my time there exploring the Chilcotin, Cariboo, and Bella Coola country. Your videos bring back some memories.

I had the opportunity to drive a short portion of the Dempster back in 2015 with my brother. We made it to Tombstone territorial park. And I literally got shivers down my spine. The hair stood up on the back of my neck. It it the most mystical place I have ever been. I Don't know if it's spirits or just the sheer beauty of the place. But it left a long-lasting impression on me. I hope to return one day.

What a beautiful place! I was young stupid and invincible once, and having almost no experience at that time, I drove the La Paz death road in Bolivia. It started high in a moon looking wet windswept landscape, and was the most terrifying road, I'd ever been on, but back in 01 vlogging a road trip wasn't really a thing unfortunately. It hit home along the road, how many cars/trucks/busses, have fallen to their doom.

It’s on my bucket list for sure! Just need the time to do it! Cheers. 🍻

Destination Adventure
When planning for the Dempster Highway, I was told of all the challenges, risks and issues. The itinerary seemed to be filled with more areas of concern than points of interest, but I am hoping to change that stigma. The Dempster Highway, start to finish, was an exceptional experience. The road conditions were decent, mechanical issues were minimal, and most of all the views are world class. After having visited 54 countries, I can confidently say that it is hard to compete with the Dempster, because the diversity you will see throughout the trip will match or beat what you can find elsewhere on the planet. We took four days to make it from the bottom to the top, but I could easily spend weeks. The best part of the whole works, is that I get to share it with all of you.
