Debi i was just in your store today and afterwards made it to the thrift shops you’ve shared with us! They were so much fun and your store it’s just out of this world beautiful and whimsical. I’m sad I did not have a chance to meet you. Congratulations on having such a beautiful space.

Best recent finds at a thrift store are a mid century brass and teak table lamp from Laural Lamp Company (pd less than $10. worth well over $200) and a set 8 of cobalt blue glasses which I've been looking for some for a long time. One find that still amazes me. I was at a thrift store in different city about 40 mins away. I found a small vintage porcelain figural lamp, which originally would have had a porcelain shade, but it was missing. I bought it anyway, thinking i would put a cloth shade on it. A week later, I was at a thrift store by my house when low and behold. There it sat, the exact porcelain shade that went with that lamp. Made its value about 5 times greater now that it was complete and more than 10 times greater than what i paid. Only God!

I’m looking forward to this video! I love it when I find old travel cases and small suitcases that are in good condition (and not musty), I am also a sucker for wood boxes and totes! When it comes to shopping in a thrift store I am pretty much a just a sucker! They see me coming and have dollar signs in their eyes!

I'm a sucker for a vintage cookbook. In a time when I pull most of my recipes from Pinterest, sometimes I just love to flip the pages a real book. If I find notes from a previous owner in the sidebars that's even better.
