Origins had a solid story, but imo poor execution and combat made it quite boring. But this has everything story, execution, and combat. This game is the best since black flag for me

I am a long time assassins creed fan The hate stems from the fact that the main character was not a samurai irl or even Japanese u are in ancient Japan do you get to play as a historical Japanese character no u play as a African man who spent a short period of time in Japan then there’s the woke crap that has no place in our video games that young kids play idk if that was dialed back during the two delays I really hope so but I’m waiting to see how it plays before I purchase because I won’t put my hard earned money into a project that is promoting the ideology of Karl Marx or the Weirmar republic and unfortunately Ubisoft has been pushing that agenda pretty hard In its last few releases and they bombed for it if you are enjoying the game I’m happy for you I’m one of those who believe everyone is free to live and love whatever and whoever makes you happy my problem is when it’s put in places it shouldn’t be like elementary schools and other places that young children prominent

The grifters made me try this game on Ubisoft+ (it's dirt cheap in my country), and I have to say, it's the most fun I've had in this franchise since Origins. I had put 10 hours into it, and everything about it is an improvement over Valhalla. The world is smaller (some see it as a negative but for me, that means less snoring while traveling from one place to another) and more packed with stuff to do; combat is much more readable and less chaotic than Valhalla, meaning less bullshit is being served; and stealth is actually fun, you're not invisible even on rooftops and have to plan your approach carefully and quickly.

The prologue of this game really hooked me, but then the gameplay after that is really empty. The AI is something out of Skyrim even though the difficulty is set very high. They get stuck even if there is a little elevation in the ground.

In no way is this game a good AC game. They care more about pleasing the woke left than actually making a solid game. Ubisoft has become a very disappointing company

Been playing AC Shadows for a couple of days and I must say I have had a lot of fun playing this game. I know there is a lot of hate surrounding the game due to it being produced by Ubisoft and their lackluster game designs. But if you enjoy playing Assassin's Creed, this game should be a solid entry to your list. I've never enjoyed an AC game like this since Origins. Yeah, there is still some repetitive missions and all but it is definitely an improvement compared to Valhalla and Odyssey. This is my honest take of the game but you should know that I've enjoyed every AC game out there except Valhalla (It was boring after the first 20 hours).
