Linux Mint is great and user friendly. I just want to know how the battery life is on Mint after a full charge for a laptop. A year ago when I had installed Linux Mint on my laptop the battery was draining quickly. Found out online that Linux had issues with laptop battery being drained quick. I don't know the state of this issue today since my laptop with Mint has not been used for a year due to keyboard and wifi issues. The keyboard and wifi issue were not related to the Linux Mint install. Probably hardware related.

Even though I dont use Linux on my main PC anymore, that doesn't mean there aren't ANY computers in this house that run it. This is Mum's laptop, and after countless hours of battling the obnoxious Windows Home Edition crap that was on there, I just decided Linux would be a better option for her and what she needs it for, and so far everything is going well. (please excuse the state of my room, I'm the only un-tidy person here)
