Hey family, I want to take a moment to clarify something important.
In a recent video, our guest Nana Kwa shared some information about ADDI (African Diaspora Development Institute) that, after further review, wasn’t entirely accurate. I’ve since had the pleasure of speaking with one of the head members of the organization, and it’s clear there was a genuine misunderstanding—not any intent to mislead.
Because many of you care deeply about initiatives like ADDI and have shown real support, I felt it was important to address this. The mission of ADDI remains powerful, and I continue to support the work they’re doing to connect and empower the global African diaspora.
You may have noticed that I’ve taken down the live session video—this was done to prevent anyone else from being misled by the inaccurate information that was shared.
I also want to sincerely apologize to anyone who may have joined ADDI under false pretenses based on that session. That was never the intention, and I truly value the trust you place in this platform.
To ensure transparency—especially around the topic of citizenship in Burkina Faso—I’ve requested a follow-up live session with ADDI leadership to provide accurate, up-to-date information. I’m currently waiting to hear back from them and will update you all as soon as I receive confirmation.
Thank you for your continued trust, understanding, and for being part of this incredible community. We are growing together—and learning together.
