This month marks 18 years since I first started doing stand-up comedy as a freshman at my college’s coffee shop open mic in a small town in Wisconsin. It’s been a wild ride so far. Growing up as an awkward only child, I always dreamed of finding a way to see more of the world, connect with people and share joy. Or maybe I’m just confusing myself with the character Buddy from the movie Elf.
Either way thank you to you all for making me feel like I’m doing that while having my dream job as a comedian. I’m so grateful for the support that’s made this opportunity possible and I’m excited to keep at it and see where the journey leads next.
