@Nataliaange01

I'm one step ahead on this one! I've been milling my own flour for a few months now! But I had no idea about all the health benefits. And I love how she ties biblical references into her conversation.

I never bought into the gluten-free trend. If you have true Celiac Disease, then yes you need to avoid gluten. But other than that, gluten is fine. What you need to watch out for is quality! A lot of bread in the U.S. is filled with junk and would not even count as bread in other countries. Buy organic if you can. I’ve heard of some people not being able to tolerate pasta in the U.S… and yet they can eat it in Europe with no issues!

Loved, loved, loved this interview! I'm getting a grain mill ASAP. I have wanted one for 3 years now, but this convinced me I need to make it a priority.

My son loves her “slightly sweet whole-grain bread” from her cook book. We started grinding our own flour this year. So far it is great.

The only people that need to be careful with gluten are those who are allergic to it. And based on my research there are not that many people that are and it does take some actual detailed testing to figure out if you are or not. A lot of people self diagnose these days and they are going crazy not using common sense. Gluten is actually a very important part of the food it's found in and to get rid of it means taking away from the goodness of those foods and therefore you are essentially losing more of the benefits of eating them.

I'm not on Insta, but I've been trying to find your email (yes, I'm old LOL) Anyway, I thought you'd be interested in talking to viewers about Provision 453 which is part of the current federal interior appropriations bill. That provision will limit consumers ability to sue ag chemical companies if their products make us sick. It's a shield for these companies against future lawsuits. If this is removed, the laws remain the same and victims will be able to file suit if they are sickened by mislabeled chemical products. Please share this with your audience. The vote comes up soon.

It's not the gluten it's the glyphosate they used to only use it to prevent weeds but now they use it as a chemical desicant to kill and quickly dry the crops so it can be harvested on a schedule working around the massive combines that come in and harvest the glyphosate is the problem its really hard and expensive to find glyphosate free wheat

I officially want a flour mill and a bread machine now! I could only eat bread(s) in Europe, but excited at the possibility to enjoy them again at home without getting sick. 🥳🍞
