I have to say your voice makes your videos very calming. I've watched many of your cabin builds so many times, I'm embarrassed to say how many. I'm not even building anything, we did build our house 25 years ago, but don't know that we could take it on now. To people in better shape than myself, you are inspiring those that they can. You simplify things just enough and make it very palatable. I really appreciate you trying to help others succeed and I may make some videos myself with your guidance. I dont even know where to begin, so that would be helpful how you even upload a video. Thanks to you and Brooke for the great content. Mick and Belle are both on my list as well.

Dave- we spoke on the phone a couple years back about YouTube and you really taught me a lot and I’m loving these new videos. I recently surpassed 250,000 subscribers. Your advice is so good! Really enjoying watching your son’s videos as well!

Fellow Michigander with off grid NW Michigan, hilly, wooded vacation acreage here. Also spent a fair amount of recreational time in God’s country - the UP. Subscribed to your new channel… even tho I dream of starting a YT channel, realistically, ‘having too much fun being retired to spend the required time and effort. Good luck on the new channel - I’m sure it will benefit from your typical no-BS, unpretentious straight talk that we have come to love.

Hey Dave & Brooke, Thank you both for enhancing my family's lives with your inspirational videos. I'll be 60 years old in a couple of weeks and leaning into retirement -- I'm a zero-waste textile artist and educator. Our 24-year old son Evan has high functioning autism. Evan is having a tough time finding a job so I decided to dust off my old YouTube channel for Evan and I to create videos in 2025 and see what happens. Dave, your new channel came up at the perfect time for us. We are currently working up a plan. After our daughter Emily died in 2021 from heart transplant complications, Evan has been lost. 2025 will be our creative YouTube year! Thanks again! We look forward to more videos! I have always said Dave is a great communicator along with his wife, Brooke. by that i mean that their videos are easy to watch and listen to, well produced video wise. Some people on YouTube create content that is not easy to follow, and I don't waste time watvhing after a few episodes. So, Dave and Brooke are keeping it interesting, eh!
