This happens when somone is actually poor but wants to show oneself as rich. Such people do throw lavish parties, but internally their heart is constantly beating regarding the bill.

Honestly, good for the business owner for standing up for her employees. I know mostly people don't when there is a big service involved

I remember during my sister's baby shower ceremony, my wife performed impromptu classical ( She is a state level performer ) fusion on a Punjabi song and I realized that the photographer was having dinner, I shoot the video myself from mobile but didn't not disturbed the photographer as he was all tired and eating his well deserved meal, So I respected his " Me time" Edit: People aren't trying to understand my perspective, I agree we had paid him but the performance wasn't planned and he was already having dinner, guests cheered my wife to perform at the end of the function, so I didn’t felt appropriate to ask him to leave his meal in between.

Money may bring happiness, but it never brings class. Paise wala hona aur bada admi hona, zameen asmaan ka farq hai. Jai Hind ❤️

Divorce lawyers ought to standby and watch this marriage disintegrate into the ground.

I was a chairperson for organizing our 20th high school reunion. When we charged ticket prices for the dinner, we included the DJ’s meal price into the ticket prices, which basically came out to be an additional 50¢ per person. People loved our DJ and were happy to serve him dinner. The DJ was grateful as well as he didn’t expect us to pay for his dinner.

Now imagine what the millions of poor people who work as house help, maids, drivers, labourers at construction sites, shops and sanitation workers go through every day when we similarly treat them without basic dignity. Just bcoz these ppl have a voice, it's being heard while the pain and suffering of millions of poor goes unheard. Its human nature. We open our eyes only when our dignity is dragged on the streets.

I think the employer is an even bigger snob for not discussing camera staffs meal beforehand and if she cared so much why not pay out of her pocket for their meals if it became such an issue
