A year ago, I watched through all the major Diamond Tiara episodes, and I conclude that Diamond didn't deserve the hate she got. It's like, I understand not liking characters who are unabashedly unlikeable, but sometimes that's the point. Diamond is a hate sink by definition. She also deserved better from the show. More buildup to her reformation in earlier episodes, and more episodes with her in the spotlight after she was reformed. As a result of it coming out of nowhere and only being of consequence to the CMC and not Diamond herself, just makes such a beloved episode very unsatisfying to me.
