I lived in the PNW the last 10 years and camped in the mountains All the time. I'm back in Texas now from a stroke and really miss seeing God's artwork every day ❤

I could see yesterday morning from my porch that Mt Adams got a dusting of snow on most of the peak over night! So happy for cooler weather

I got caught in a snowstorm on Mt Elbert on the 13th. Pushed through to the summit, got above the storm, and the veiws were breathtaking

I live in South Carolina and I am so ready for cool weather. Some 20's & 30's just for a short time though.

NOOOO, say it ain't so man. I live in S. Illinois and I take this as harbinger of bad things to come. Last year we had an ice storm then, 3.5 ft of snow and then another inch of ice. It wasn't a DIY digout, had to have a friend bring his 4x4 tractor w/blade to clear our 200 ft driveway. Fingers crossed! 😬

Can’t wait for it. It’s been way too hot a summer. Even still it’s in the 80s. I guess no one told the weather that it’s October.

It’s funny how prideful people from Montana are given the fact that no 14,000 foot peaks exist there. I don’t even think they break 13,000.

I've seen it -30° F, in Interior Alska - on Halloween. The kid's costumes are pretty boring. They all look like the Michelin Man.
