▶️ How to Become One With God Through Prayer: https://youtu.be/6k2j23P-ZAc

God promises to work all things together for our good, but that does not mean He orchestrates the difficult or tragic things that happen in and around our lives. James 1:17 tells us that every good and perfect gift comes from God, while John 10:10 reveals the devil as the one who comes to kill, steal, and destroy. We can celebrate the fact that God can take what the enemy meant for evil, and turn it around for our good and His glory, but He is never to blame for the difficulties of life.

And sometimes He wants us to know it is Him - The perfect Father! Joel 2:25-26 25 “I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten— the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm THAT I SENT AMONG YOU. Job 42:11 They comforted and consoled Job over all the trouble THE LORD HAD BROUGHT UPON HIM “For the Lord disciplines those he loves, and he punishes each one he accepts as his child.”” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

While I absolutely agree, where does hebrews 12 come into play? Or psalms 119? It says He scourges those He loves in Hebrews and that He afflicts us in Psalms 119.

Wow I am mixed up pretty good. My desire for Reconsiliation is low. I digress.

My only question is: the Bible speaks to God using it for good, and turning it around….. But doesn’t he also “cause” it ?? “I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the Lord, do all these things.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭45‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Hmm. Sometimes he doesn't. And, sometimes he does. Directly, that is. It depends upon how the sovereign God chooses to interact with his created order.
