A few things to think about. 1) Since UPS acquired Roadie, you bet they have adjusted Roadie's driver compensation to align with its overall business strategy, prioritizing cost efficiency. 2) Definitely a shift in the business model. Roadie initially focused on crowdsourced, on-demand deliveries, but since UPS's acquisition, it highly likely shifted toward more structured and standardized delivery pricing. 3) The support agents are trained not to give away the house. The house always wins. Roadie being under the thumb (I mean umbrella) of a publicly traded company makes them have to succumb to how they (UPS) do business.

The agents aren't trash... the company is. I'm sure if they did change it most times they'd end up losing their jobs smh. We gotta start directing our anger at these greedy, snake azz corporations. Sometimes, it's the employee, but 99% of the time they are just doing what they are told to do.

If the dimensions or weight didn't exceed the maximums for that size from that sender, then they won't adjust. If you can show it was sized wrong according to their own sizing charts, found on Roadies site, then they will give an adjustment.
