Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the broom just objectively better? The only thing the ufo has on it is the fact the broom is an expert drop.

Upon defeating Plantera, I almost ALWAYS dart for witch broom to replace all my mobility accessories for utility and damage ones and then take on daytime empress for the Teraprisma. It's so reliable that I just never get off it once I equip it. It replaces my legs pretty much 😭

For me it's just a personal choice, but the ufo just seems to handle better. I know the broom is faster, and you can go through doors, also the ufo looks cooler when you add dyes to it vrs the broom.

Tbh, outside raining shennanigans, wich's broom is the best infinity flight mount there is. Pass platforms without slowing, even can fly immediatly above ground. And is the only flying mount that doesn't make you taller, so you can pass doors too.

Compared to UFO, Broom is faster horizontally, is 3 blocks tall instead of 4 and does not disappear in water

Witch’s broom is literally the same as UFO but it can fit through smaller spaces and won’t despawn in liquids. Therefore, it’s just better

i never gotten the ufo in my entire life and i got atleast 400 hours on 1.3 alone. The Pumpkin Moon is such an incredible powerful Event giving you items that you can keep until defeating moonlord, like the 3rd best wings before moonlord and you get the broom earlier than the ufo

UFO is more accessible, but Broom ride does not get interrupted by water, and is way better.
