My late aunt had embroidered some blocks. They were from coloring papers her kids brought from school. There were bunnies and flowers. I sashed them with some Easter fabric and use the same fabric for the backing. I also hand quilted.

Mine is a cross made of burgundy batiks and florals all around it. All the pieces are 2” squares. The border is brown shadow play fabric that I free motioned a wood grain design on.

I haven't made an Easter quilt, just a table runner. I think a small wall hanging would be something I'd like to make in the future. Just not this year.

I got some really cute novelty Easter fabrics to make an Easter quilt, but my mom turned them into Easter baskets 🤷🏻♀️ Maybe I'll try again in the futur
