That’s for Israel to decide not non citizens and non residents. Israel has to look out for its strategic security needs and interests. With allies that yank Israel around like a yo-yo to appease the Arab interests- that’s not a winning strategy.

People tend to forget , Israel made a full functioning fighter jet in late 80s, and scrapped the project because of the US pressure in favor of Lockheed Martin, big mistake

Yes !!! Become completely independent .Remember South Vietnam which was lured into becoming overdependant on US Assistance and was betrayed by the US government. Refer to Afghanistan and Iraq recently.

Yes, stop letting the US claim that it is giving aid when in reality it is tying your hands in the name of pretending to stop an arms race in the Middle East. If there is an arms race when you start building then win it. An arms race is the way the US won the Cold War. It will work for you too. It’s time for the theocratic dictators in the region to collapse under the economic strain of trying to keep up. It will also teach the countries that fund them that it is a losing battle. Build, become fully independent militarily, save money by becoming independent militarily, and win any ensuing arms race. Then hopefully, Jewish, Christian, Druze, and other ethnic minority communities can return to their lands (through normal purchase and lack of persecution.)
