This is a message to the people at @Disney and the CEO, Bob Iger, and I’m very nervous to tell you this message.
My name is Mike and I don’t really hate you, I just hate that you shut down Blue Sky Studios four years ago and it’s still gone even when COVID-19 is over. But what people hate the most is your live-action remakes, except The Jungle Book (2016), because I notice how great the score is on Rotten Tomatoes. I don’t mind live-action remakes, but ever since that, you’ve been making countless live-action remakes from Dumbo (2019) to Lilo and Stitch (2025). Some were successful and some were flops, but when Snow White flopped hard, you cancelled the live-action remake of Tangled, but when Lilo and Stitch succeeded, you got the live-action Tangled back in development and holy moly, people on the internet are pissed! I can hear them screaming “NO! NO MORE REMAKES! PLEASE NO MORE!” or “HOW IS LILO AND STITCH A SUCCESS?! THAT’S IMPOSSIBLE!” and yes, I was thinking that too, how can a remake where a big sister abandons her little sister just to go to college at the end be a success? Anyway, let’s get back on track, what I trying to say is, @Disney, you have got to stop with these live-action remakes. I’m not a child joking with you, I am a grown eighteen-year-old adult being serious with you, @Disney . You really have to stop with these live-action remakes, you’re going to get yourselves in HUGE trouble and you’d probably run out of money. Some people are saying that your live-action remakes are pointless and cash grabs. I think that too, but I’m thinking that they are brain rot. That’s right, @Disney . Your live-action remakes are brain rot. Think of Skibidi Toilet or Cocomelon, those are brain rot too. Your live-action remakes are basically those two, but not. So I’m serious, @Disney . Stop with the live-action remakes! But I think I notice some people on the internet say that a live-action remake of Treasure Planet would be a good idea since that flopped at the box office back in 2002. But cancel the live-action remakes of Tangled and Moana, because you’re going to lose more money. So do not remake anymore movies, except Treasure Planet and maybe Atlantis: The Lost Empire since that flopped at the box office also. Anyway, back to Blue Sky Studios, for years, that animation studio has been my favorite besides DreamWorks Animation. When Ice Age: Collision Course came out back in 2016 and that flopped at the box office, I thought Blue Sky Studios would stop making movies until Ferdinand and Spies in Disguise came out. Ferdinand was a success at the box office and Spies in Disguise was not. Since you bought 20th Century Fox and renamed it @20thCenturyStudios and COVID-19 hit the world, you shut down Blue Sky Studios in 2021 and I was right about Blue Sky Studios not making movies anymore. Nimona was one of their projects, but was cancelled due to you shutting down Blue Sky Studios, but luckily @Netflix saved it. Still, I miss Blue Sky Studios and for four years, I wanted Blue Sky Studios to come back because it’s not the same without them. The other reason for Blue Sky Studios shutting down is Spies in Disguise flopping at the box office back in 2019. So, @Disney , if you can shut down Blue Sky Studios after Spies in Disguise flopped at the box office, why didn’t you shut down Walt Disney Animation Studios @disneyanimation after Strange World and Wish flopped at the box office or shut down @pixar after Lightyear and Elio flopped at the box office? Which is going to happen to your sequels and remakes if you do not stop with the sequels and the remakes. You also need to market your original films more due to Lightyear, Strange World, and Elio not marketing enough. I still want Blue Sky Studios back. COVID-19 is over now, so you need to bring back Blue Sky Studios and rehire the people who work there, also don’t be cash cows or con-artists making remakes. So, @Disney , stop with the live-action remakes and bring back Blue Sky Studios!
Thank you!
