I have some news to share! Many of you know that I compose most of the background music for my videos. About six months ago, I had an intriguing thought: why not create music that could actually be performed by people in the community? That idea developed into a project called Trials of the Unknown - a concert band piece playable by a decent high school or college ensemble.
After countless hours of work, the end is in sight. I'm excited to announced that Trials of the Unknown will officially release on February 28th, 2025! If you're in a concert band, consider asking your director if you could perform it. I'm not sure if anything like this has happened on YouTube before, and it would be so cool to watch the community bring it to life in a real concert setting.
In the meantime, I just posted the official mockup audio. Whether you're in a band or not, give it a watch and let me know what you think. This has been a very meaningful project for me, and I'm excited to finally share it with you:
