She was so good in everything she was in. Hobson’s Choice is such a good movie too.

Thank you for letting world know.. I was recently watching her on an Mapp and Lucia ,, And of course the short lived Fawlty Towers,, that felt like it was on for 7 seasons,, a classic. , Sybill and “Ooooooh I know, Oooooh I know”, Said many times but when she’s in hospital for her toe,, it’s just extra. She is a gem!

So sad to hear of her passing. She was the perfect foil to Basil's seething incompetence.

Certainly she was very good in Fawlty Towers, but other things she did that I enjoyed were Natural Causes (Home Cooking - very 'black!), Unnatural Causes with George Cole, and Joe Orton's What The Butler Saw with Timothy West and Dinsdale Landen. (I may have got the 'Causes' the wrong way round!) Marvellous actor and sorely missed.

Please tell me that it isn’t true ! But alas it must be because your words are always true! She was a gem! I hope I can find a woman like her when I visit London next year. She will be missed!

Major Dolby's Cat
So very saddened to learn of the death of Prunella Scales but what great memories she has left us with, from Hobsons Choice to Fawlty Towers. And I Always loved watching Great Canal Journeys on the telly with my late mum.
